(The Cambodia Herald)—During the first six months of this year, Cambodia has received a total of 94 investment projects worth some $3.4 billion, the state’s news agency-AKP quoted deputy prime minister Keat Chhon

Last year, 210 projects were registered with a total investment capital of $4 billion, he added.

This significant increase shows clearly the interest of investors in the investment potential and opportunities in Cambodia, particularly their trust in the leadership of the Royal Government of Cambodia, explained Keat Chhon.

Cambodia has achieved an economic growth of around 7.7 percent on average in the last two decades, and the gross domestic product (GDP) per capita reached$1,123 in 2014.
